Mateusz Majkowski

Mateusz Majkowski’s luthier workshop has been working in Kraków since 2024.

Graduate in artistic violin building from the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.

He completed the Bronisław Rutkowski Music School, first and second degree, in Kraków, in the violin class.

He took master classes with Peter Beare.

He works with the Computer Tomography and Radiography Laboratory of the Kielce University of Technology on projects applying industrial computer tomography to the study of historical bowed instruments.

He is the author of Project Polonia, devoted to the tomographic technical documentation of the 1685 ‘Polonia’ violin by Antonio Stradivari. Project Polonia →

He prepares technical documentation, construction templates, and digital and physical models of historical instruments.

He makes bench models for geometric analysis using 3D printing.
